  1. Kilo bars are for paupers. I use 400oz good delivery bars.
  2. Lovely bar, lovely price. Gutted I missed that.
  3. Two lovely Kooks for the date run. The 1996 is great, the 2002 is absolutely pristine. Having completed my silver Brit date run earlier this year, it's time for the Kooks, also 2oz where I find them. Also plan to complete the QB & get started with the TB. That's the plan, but we'll see!
  4. Wow. I found an auction sale of a 70 for $15k... for a 25 year old silver bullion coin. The 2002 silver Brit has a touch over half the mintage and (to my eye) is just about as nice, but will cost a tiny fraction of that. Its a funny game is coins!!!
  5. Really rips my knitting, leading with the ex VAT price, when 99.99% of buyers will be VAT liable private individuals. When you go to Morrisons are the beans priced ex VAT, with the VAT added at the checkout? Of course not... On that subject- also pricing something as 'from' with the price break if you're buying 500 of whatever, again most people don't buy 500 of anything!!!
  6. Well if he's after postage as well them I'm out!!!😀
  7. Very nice, really like the old plain field Brits, they are nice looking coins. Dont see many milky ones either!!!
  8. Dude, I think you've let the secret slip. You've killed the magic!🙁
  9. You could probably pimp it out on here, say £50 for it to stay for the night!

Or any listing for that matter...
  11. The fifth installment of the Perth Lunars. Almost half way already - where does the time go??!! Anyway, half, one and two ouncers, silver, cos I haven't won the lottery yet!
  12. @Gordy still full of Xmas spirit?
  13. LoL - there will hundreds if not thousands on here after the Black Friday giveaway! Give it 5 minutes...
  14. As I said, I have easily spent a few £k with Atkinsons, but they really do take the mick with their pricing now. This time last year they listed the 2oz Rabbit coin at £100. I emailed them to ask if they were being serious, they reduced the price to £75 later that day. They used to be my go to - cheaper than both BBP and Chards, but not anymore. Shame.
  15. Then economies of scale would suggest they would shift more and could therefore charge less? If Morrisons was more expensive than the corner shop, then no one would go to Morrisons. (Other supermarkets are available...)
  16. I am buying the Perth Mint S3 Lunars in silver - half, one and two ounces. Marmite I know, but I like them... Anyway just wanted to point out the gulf in price between these 2 dealers as of today. Atkin$on$ £129 Silvertrader £106 (including discounts) How on earth can Atkin$on$ justify that? I have bought a fair amount from them in the past, but apart from the odd bit of preowned I can't recall when I last bought from them. And that is not likely to change as long as they take the mince like this.
  17. Given that RM like to put 50-100% premium on this type of thing, then it is at least unusual. I think it may just be all the dregs that have been returned and they can't shift otherwise bundled I to what the work experience guy thinks is a 'collection'.
  18. If you like it then it's not a mistake, I expect you didn't pay a huge amount for it and its a nice little bar. I would happily own one. I think JM did lots of these type of bars for various companies or entities, and some people do collect them, @LiquidMetalsUK will likely know more than most here. It may be special - I genuinely don't know. I often buy with my heart, not with my head. If you like it, then its a win!
