The £1 coin was introduced on the Isle of Man in 1978, 5 years before the UK. The platinum Manx triskelion design is a tad rare and unusual, issued by the Pobjoy Mint. Mintage 1,000 Proof .95 Platinum I have one "spare".

Possibly the wisest decision anybody could make in the current UK shιtshow that so many ovine buffoons accept as being a democracy.

2017 Ugly Duckling Until a recent and timely heads-up by@James32, I had never seen a Perth Mint Gold Swan on TSF. A rare bird indeed, this inaugural cygnine ozzer was limited to a total mintage of just 5,000. At spot+2% it seemed too good an opportunity to pass up as well as being a splendidly handsome piece. All are in quite superb condition but, other than the (proof) LIbertad and Krug, I would be happy to swap any coin for a 2022 or 2023 1/10oz Somalian Elephant. My personal 2022 zenith was the procurement of the rarest and probably the least known of the gold coins bearing this now all-too-familiar design, albeit trailblazing in 2015. With a maximum mintage of 500 it makes the 2022 matt quintuple sovereign seem a mite commonplace.
