Same - I've never seen real-world pictures of that coin in 1 oz before.  They were supposed to be making a 1 oz bullion version but I don't think it ever did get released.
I hope they actually do release one at some point.  I like it in 1/4 oz bullion and would definitely want to add its bigger brother.

I have a couple of 1/4 Bullion and such a good looking coin. Under-appreciated. 

Got a little package inbound from @Clockpuncher, not the type of thing I go for (depreciating, unloved proofs) but I just love this coin and bought it as an indulgence. Got to be done sometimes eh?

I'm trying to complete my first tube of silver coins before turning my focus to larger bars and gold coins. Trying to keep the price reasonable as the rest of the tube was filled with no knowledge of this forum so I paid way more than I should have in premiums and VAT! 😂

The post did just leave it in hanging out of letter box at the end of my drive though.. luckily no sticky fingers found it . Royal mint also labeled as ‘numismatic item’ not investment metal for some reason.

Both coins in black ringed Airtites. 
A 1964 South African Mint gold 2R two Rand coin. Same gold weight as a UK sovereign, the 1964 is one of the low mintages of this coin. £400 including RM Special Delivery. 2R SOLD 
A 2014 full gold UK sovereign. Now £390 including RM Special Delivery.
