  1. Dragging my Ryanair carry on bag past customs might be a problem then ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I stayed very close to the European Mint in Tallinn the other week beautiful City ๐Ÿ‘
  2. Anyone know if the European Mint are likely to get the 1kg silver in stock ๐Ÿค” they stocked the 10oz beasts so maybe they will stock the Kilos might be able to make a saving on VAT ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. Looks like a Royal Mint quality control problem or put another way no quality and no control . Dont attempt to clean them just return them for an exchange set . The second set should be problem free if your lucky ๐Ÿ‘
  4. Queen Elizabeth II Guillick sovereigns are a good place to start as they are collectable and hold a premium
  5. They will increase or decrease inline with the gold spot price , they also have a premium when bought some of this premium will be carried forward when its time to sell . Atkinsons Bullion currently have them in stock for ยฃ1397 ( which is less than I paid a few weeks ago ) if you purchase more than one there is discounts . Might be worth picking up a few of the other latest 1oz gold beasts while they are still in stock.
  6. They came out really well and look great
  7. The same gold was in circulation and recycled thousands of years before the Nazis . Vikings , Saxons , Romans , Normans all past their gold onto us and part of it is in every gold coin we hold ๐Ÿ˜€
  8. The best price sovereigns are sold on the forum plus there is the bonus of seeing good quality pictures of the actual coin your purchasing. Best to buy nice looking examples of older sovereigns Victoria through to Elizabeth II this helps keep the interest going with so many varieties some hold an extra premium ๐Ÿ‘ Saw some lovely examples selling on the forum over the last few days for ยฃ310 each
  9. I would go for more sovereigns as its much easier to sell fractional gold coins than full 1oz . A 1oz Britannia will sell for a few % over spot. Having four sovereigns in the hand gives you the option to sell slowly one at a time or liquidate fast all in one go.
  10. If the European Mint get the Kilo Completers in I will buy a couple and fly them back on Ryanair to save the VAT ๐Ÿš€

    Skint again

I hope you all picked up a few of those 1 Kilo silver completers ๐Ÿ˜‚
  12. Was there much interest on the forum I cant find any threads about the gold 1/4 ? Just been checking ebays sold listings for gold Queens Beasts the original 1/4 gold proofs seem to be selling for good prices now with a few being sold with best offer to ยฃ1k I guess the original 1/4 gold proofs are getting harder to find as people try to complete the set ๐Ÿš€
  13. Well the Royal Mint keep churning them out ๐Ÿ˜‚ When was this one released ? I didnt even hear anything on the grapevine .
  14. Looks like a type of Bolo tie ๐Ÿ‘ Masonic or other group .
  15. Definitely a good choice for 1oz bullion going forward into the months and years ahead the premiums could carry on rising as dealer stocks dry up They have the added interest and bonus of being a set of ten + completer medal to collect ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. The Forum is the best place to buy and sell ๐Ÿ‘ no fees and the money goes direct into your account . Selling on Ebay 12.8% fees and the money is held by them for several days.
  17. The Forum is the Safest place to buy ๐Ÿ‘ you can also put WANTED Add up for what ever you are looking for and I am sure a Forum member will respond and help you out.
  18. And the Royal Mint Bullion told me they were "no longer available " ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ There are different types of drip feeding ๐Ÿ™„ Drip feeding the market ๐Ÿค”
  19. I can have a good guess as to who bought the 10KG gold completer for their collection ( maybe a collector who has every denomination of all English coins ever struck in their collection ๐Ÿ˜€ ) The 10Kg gold coin is probably insured at double the price they paid for it . Try and find another ๐Ÿง
  20. Thats true some coins are restrikes of the original design ๐Ÿ‘ in this case the coin is a fantasy replica
  21. Thats a very good deal for a tenner ๐Ÿ‘ some nice silvers in that Lot
  22. Have you got any pictures of the other coins in the Lot , would be interesting to see as many restrikes are passed on as originals . Genuine hammered coins are very much thinner than the one you posted , about the same thickness as the card on cereal box as a rule.
  23. Lovely coins and stunning design ๐Ÿ‘ I think it will be a keeper for most coin collectors for sure.
