Yesterday I bought a 10 dollar liberty head from HGM. I have never seen one of these in person but at 3% over spot combined with the rise today I have already won on paper for the time being and it would not matter if the coin has been used as a poker chip. Still I would like my first US gold to be at least half decent, so please kindly wish me luck on the HGM lottery. Will post pictures on the other thread when it arrives. 

For my second gold purchase nothing too special. Just a restrike Ducat. I do really like the coat of arms on the reverse though.

So I finally received my humongeous delivery of 300oz of silver that I have accumulated in the Celticgold vault over the last 3 months.
It seems so much, and yet so little. Volumetrically, perhaps the size of 1 house brick.
Brings me to 500oz for this year, well ahead of schedule for my 1000 oz year end target. 

Didn't think I'd see £912/oz so soon. My gold stack value now more than covers the current deficit in my silver stack. Not that I have been thinking of selling anything but it looks quite satisfying on my spreadsheet

I collect the Call of the Wild series but spot has been too high to buy the latest 2016 Roaring Grizzly so cashed in some Bitcoin now that it's finally back up to ~£400.  Thought I'd add a 8g Panda since I was already paying for postage.
Bought from Bitgild but shipped by EPM Trading (Coin Invest/STG parent company).  Not sure if Bitgild is owned by the same people or whether they just have a drop shipping arrangement.

Received a second lion from Baird's. This was meant to be a 2016 Britannia, number 6 for the 10 coin tube I am working on, but they are selling the lions for £2 more and I could not help myself. 

The £ bottomed in April and has been strengthening ever since. I therefore can not believe that brexit has anything to do with the strength of the pound, and do not think the UK will be on the losing side if we leave. You are right that silver will be significantly more expensive, but only because we will no longer be able to take advantage of the reduced VAT, not because the pound will be weaker.
The Euro will be the loser in the case of Britain leaving as it is a net contributor. The project will be a few hundred million short for its annual budget which will do nothing to support confidence in either the Euro or the future sustainability of the project itself without some tough times for the remaining members.

My very first gold purchase. Nothing special just a 2001 half sovereign. Slightly smaller than a penny. Very cool and nice and compact vs silver too!

Well today (Friday 3rd June) was fun. A bad set of job figures from the USA and the market is now taking the view that a rate rise in June is off and even one in July is dubious. As a result, USD is down, and gold is up about 2.5%. The gold miners have gone crazy again: SGDM is up 11%, SGDJ up 12% and HUI up 11.5%. And here I was expecting a quiet summer with some profit-taking and consolidation.
