My unboxed no coa handled 1989 anniversary 1/2 and full sovereigns finally came back from grading. I really was not expecting much so pleasantly surprised with a 69.
Picked the 1/2 sov up for about 100 quid or so a couple of years ago and the full sov for about (350 - edit) quid a few years ago and happy to know they are not fakes.
 

Yes I've noticed that, people must be selling when they see the gold price rise. Shields being a collector's coin won't have the number of buyers to support the price when the market gets "flooded". Make hay

At £260 these shields are by far the best buy at the moment. They are trading at the same prices as they were when gold was £100/oz or even £200 cheaper.
If gold drops again, I've no doubt they'll hold their value. If gold rises, the price of these coins will have to go up as well.

I've bought at £1200 per oz in 2011 I'm well aware and I personally will not even think of selling yet I've also bought at £650 per oz I'm not knocking anybody who does but I won't be @silverin

If we stay, it will go down in both usd and certainly gbp. However, the long term issues will return once the dust settles and it should rise again.

Didn´t look good enough

Just picked up a roll of Lunar series 1 Tigers for 44 and change a piece, the guy has saved me a roll of Ox series 1 for 38.70 a piece. 
That will bring my investment to pretty much my 5k target and thus is the end of my stacking journey for now.
150 Pandas 40 Lunar horses 20 S1 Tigers and 20 S1 Ox. With an average of £21.57 (Ouch :P)
its been a pleasure guys, I will probably disappear back into the world of shares soon

If anyone wants an Ox or a Tiger the guy has spares that I can pick up...

The 2004 proof kook 2 coin set. Very rare, only 545 sets minted, and it's the only way to get a 2 oz coin as they are not found in any other set or single!
 

For my second gold purchase nothing too special. Just a restrike Ducat. I do really like the coat of arms on the reverse though.

Finally joined the Panda tray club.  Couldn't put off the 2016 much longer with us already half way though the year.
Silica Gel pack and Anti-Tarnish pad at each end and then vacuum sealed ready for long term storage.

I tried to vacuum my sheets but they kept opening up by the next day, tried 3 times! Any tips?

My very first gold purchase. Nothing special just a 2001 half sovereign. Slightly smaller than a penny. Very cool and nice and compact vs silver too!

Oh and it is a highly rare coin...population of 2 at NGC whereas the 70 has a population of over 3,000....lol ! Dirty is the new cool....

Numstacker's 8g 2016 Panda is back in Asia again after a lap of the world and slabbed on the way.....that is one well heeled bear !!!

The  gold1910 half eagle bought last week. Very happy with this one.  Nice detail on the headdress - and a great lustre. Like Numistacker said recently - some of the best finds in pre-33 US gold are to be found in Europe, or in this case - Israel.
