@SILVERFINGER you won't be disappointed when it turns up mate. Only thing is finding them is hard. I got this one direct from Baird and co but i only got it because spot had went into the £9-£10 area. which made adding the VAT not too much. Before that it was like £1600 with VAT which is just too much i think were a while away from £16 per oz,

Well my first thought was why am I buying this. When it turned up scratched i then thought yep going back but now that it comes fresh. I think i like it. 
Edit: Better pics added and on closer inspection. We’re going back again. Marks at the P and behind the queens head. 😔

Nope! I got till November (mortgage term end) and i think we aint seen nothing yet now a bull run has finally started. Hopefully I’ll be cashing some out at £2k + towards the end of the year. If the price hits the floor i can use other funds but gold makes the most sense for me especially when prices should be sky high

I agree, emergency cash should be cash, with easy access.
However, the forum can allow your gold to be extremely liquid. You can offer an item for sale and, assuming you have rep, be paid into your account immediately. 

On a serious note, congratulations everyone ( both big and small stackers ) it's great to see, irrespective of where it goes next. Justification that we are on the right road at least.

Whist the fat lady has not yet sung, it’s been a good week for Gold. 
- 5 days with no mysterious slam down
- Price increment has survived todays US employment number release (see the temp spike earlier)
- Ditto for 2 days of Powell pronouncements in the US
My guess is that we will see further highs next week.  There seems to be “momentum”. 

The key question is what is driving the upward momentum.  Lots of “experts” are keen to opine, but I suspect multiple factors are at play.  Are people looking for safety?  If so what has gold sniffed out?
