Yeah. I picked one up on Saturday by accident and been trying to find a rough value but can't see them for sale anywhere. Mintage is 8,888 I think. Lovely coin though.
I did see your post Dime, I think you got a great steal there. Ebay has two for sale on 'buy it now'. One for £300 the other £350 and one has just come up for auction, £37 from Germany with 5 days to go Ebay number (141596548188) , will be interesting to see what it fetches.

Hello Dime
It's a silver horse proof, they seem hard to find, there seems to still be a lot of gold lunar horse coins avalable at very good premiums though.

Hi Kman, I think the size is great i really like the detail on the sovereign and on the plus side i can still hide my stack in a match box . As for why i chose coininvest and not hattongardenmetals, well i looked at both and yes hatton was cheaper buy a couple of pound but didnt want the hassle of a bank transfer as i have not done one before, but will get it sorted out as they do have some great offers

Hi madhatter, nice coin i like early milled silver i wish i stated collecting them years ago they will only shoot up in value as so many collectable coins are going into the melting pot . shame its not the 1893 Jubilee Head a scarce coin, i have been tempted to buy some of these scrap pre 47 lots to see if there anything collectable in them.
Today I Received.....
