Why the big price difference from dealers buying gold? As of now, sov's Atkinsons - £385.94 Chards - £388.31 HGM - £366.57 Sharps Pixley - £379-382 Apart from a few quid here and there HGM £20 less, ideas?

I've found some nice coins (AU 53-58?) when buying just for weight. Dealers tend not to have the time to go through large amounts of coins on the off chance that a few might be better. Buy X oz's, you 'will' find some good ones, or at least ones better than those you might have. It's worked for me. I've found dealers charge about spot + 10%

You mention buying, also need to be thinking about selling or passing them on. All very well buying as cheap as possible, but overseas silver coins are not CGT free. As for buying, here is the best palce -

As 90% of my gold and silver is for stacking, how do I find out if I may have something a bit different? Is there a good guide I can get hold of? I have the Marsh book but it's for general stuff, if you know what I mean.
