If I was to order, maybe 3 or 4 coins from the European Mint or Eurpoa Bullion will I have to pay import or VAT. As far as I can tell there is already VAT when ordering, but is there import duty when an order could be under £150? Type about this for a bit

Pay off the 20 odd quid I owe on my credit card, good acoustic bass, a bass amp I can carry more than 10 foot, a good synth bass pedal, better PC for my music, beer, women, song and curry. Which would leave me enough for 1/2 Sov and 3oz's of silver

I had no trouble with my insurance company, just told them I have some coins and upped the value of my contents, didn't even cost any extra The only bank (metro) round my way (population 300,000+) that has boxes, doesn't allow gold or silver coins to be kept and anything isn't even insured Even the cheaper safes are fireproof for X hours, temp outside shouldn't matter too much. If you are worried a blanket, or part of a duvet will help out

I went to Coincraft once, and that was once too many, had money on me and was willing to buy if something took my fancy. Seemed to think I was below them. How much are you willing to spend? The thing with most home safes is that there not really safe, if someone really wants to get what's inside they will if they have enough time. Home safes are they to put off your normal burglar they what to be in and out asap, and take stuff they can carry away easy. Once they see a safe, even if they can find it, they'll stay away, it's too much trouble. But a nice and simple safe, something like a Yale, or a bit better, a Master Lock should be fine. Most important is can it be bolted to the floor
