Today I bought (and received as I collected), 1890, 1891, 1892 and 1893 sovereigns.

Don't think there was a London 1893 but I can't see any mint mark on it. Not looked with a loupe though yet.

Edit, just noticed there was London 1893's, just a different head.

For someone who on the 1st of July said to himself I'm not going to buy anything this month...................................
 
I have currently bought in the last 11 days, some more coin weights, a 1998 Britannia Proof set, a 2015 Britannia Proof set, 3 x 2015 1oz Proof Brits, a 2002 Kangaroo Proof,  a 2oz Bicentennial Silver medallion, and about 7 letterboxes and light switches in various property in the south east.
 
Oh and a 2 oz Lunar mouse proof.

I wouldn't normally post in this thread, but got a pretty decent haul of shield sovereigns delivered today and thought why not!

At first glance this looked like a great coin, but in natural light it was apparent that some bugger had decided to polish it!
2012 double sovereign commemorative 4 portrait coin.  This is a stunning coin, but with a slight scratch.  In two minds about what to do about this one.

Just call me Joseph Merrick.

Today I bought a 10g gold bar from HGM. Good for my averages at £794/oz delivered.

I'd prefer to see a dedicated sovereign sub-section in gold first .

My 1/4oz gold 2015 maple and a chocolate coin from Atkinsons :-)

Today I received.... My entire stack! Finally reunited! Which is great, but I'll just have time to pull out a few favourite bits before the rest heads to the safety deposit box tomorrow. Treasure lifes good moments while they last huh?

And the family. I dio have better examples of the single and half but couldn't lay my hands on them for the photo shoot.
 

A pf70 Benin zebra coin, only 2 at this grade in existence at the moment

4 1/2 sovs arrived this morning thanks to HighlandTiger, 1905, 1906, 1910 and 1913.  Waiting on Hattongarden now for the other 2 + the 10g bar.

Tip of the day: if you look at the yin/yang on the floormat of the 5yuan, the yin section is mirrored. If you ever see one where both yin and yang are frosted - pick it up as they go for many hundreds of pounds.

Got another 6 1/2 sovs on the way + a 10g bar so the existing quadrum coin case is no longer big enough.
 
Solution - buy some treasure chests, 1 for gold and 1 for silver
