This may be a bit of a long shot but putting it out there to see if there’s any interest, I have 2 10g Britannia bars (bought from Atkinsons) and a QE2 Sovereign (choice of 3) Im looking to exchange for a 1oz Britannia/royal arms/queens beast etc gold coin (in good order, post 2012) with cash payment to make any difference or even just the 2 bars plus cash difference, pictures available if there’s any interest.

I remember using £5 coins in the 1980s or early 1990s no problem but I imagine people heads would fall off if I tried to use one now!

Buys gold coins with stolen money using a bank card, then just leaves them in the HGM bags in a drawer in his house so they could just collect it along with all his pottery! for Christ sake he could have at least buried the coins when he visited Poland so he could have dug them up when he was released!

There is something special about old sovs, the ones that actually circulated, not the new “rose” ones, the currency of an empire and the history, I like 24ct gold too but Sovs are best.

I stopped selling anything of value on eBay after my brother in law sold a games console and some games (all in perfect order) and the “buyer” decided they wanted to return it because it was “broken” when it arrived back it was smashed to pieces, looked like it had been hit with a lump hammer. Ebay refunded the “buyer” and then spent 12 months chasing my brother in law for the money, Another seller had left feedback saying this person was a thief and they had swapped out a Hard drive from a games console and they had reported them to the police, of course the feedback was “positive” because sellers can’t leave negative feedback for buyers anymore to warn other people!
