There's real freedon and power in being able to say f-off!
Thanks mate, I actually was offered a much more senior role as well to stay, essentially trying to buy me and not being tempted was a great relief.
Even though I has liquid savings there's a real added security in the physical stuff! -

In the meantime, can i have x6 of your 2023 QE silver 1oz Brits?
Thanks mate, it was actually the best feeling being able to walk away with no stress because I have been stacking and saving.
Sure thing, I'll PM you now.

Thanks to everyone who has made a purchase so far. I'm going to sell everything so I'm happy to negotiate if the price isn't right so feel free to ask.
Hello everyone, I've recently stepped away from a job that ended up being a nightmare move for me. Fortunately precious metals gave me the freedom to not have to stay and ruin my reputation within the industry I work in so there's a lesson in here for newer stackers about the freedom stacking can afford us!It has led me to having to sell at least a large portion of my stack sadly. Happy to offer photos but I didn't want to clog up the post.
I can do Bank Transfer or Paypal (prefer BT) with postage separate to the cost of the item and am willing to negotiate on prices. I've been out of the loop for a while so if any of my prices are missing the mark please let me know, I won't be offended at all but equally need to get the best value that I can without sitting on them for too long so any advice regarding pricing would be appreciated.
Can send photos and can post immediately as the post office is beside my house.

Hi all, I am gifting some silver Brits to family visiting from the states from my stack but I want to replace them.
This means there is no rush with delivery or anything. I just would like 6 at a good price to to top a tube up.
Happy to transact immediately for the right price (around £22 each) with BT or Paypal.

At £69 plus £5 delivery is this coin a good buy? - https://hattonsoflondon.co.uk/product/the-2023-king-charles-iii-75th-birthday-gold-one-eighth-sovereign/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=1020&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAmsurBhBvEiwA6e-WPJ1U8qasFKmjfBsPSq_pGEf7F1rKfpDk39JHc_JUPYwciSMApDNRhBoC2gYQAvD_BwE
They are making 3500 I think and I like fractional gold but is this really a better option that a 1g bar?
-
I really like these and the Britannia bar that you have up but the price does seem high.
Last time I bought each the spot price was about the same as it is now and I paid £245 for the Brit and £250 for the Scottsdale which is why you may not be getting much traction.
Tbf I haven't seen many 10oz bars on here recently so people may pay more than normal but other members likely are thinking the same as me.

Wish I saw these earlier, very nice and unique jewellery.

Can I get a 1oz and 2oz copper and a 1oz silver please?

Silver and gold bracelet from respected firearm engraver Ken Hunt.
His work is really amazing and not very expensive considering the craftsmanship (this was £350 with silver ones being about £200)
Really cool unique work and my first pm purchase not for stacking. After a year of investing I thought I’d treat myself!

It seems like there have been people selling these coins on this forum priced for their precious metals content which has caused a perception that they aren't worth much premium but if you look elsewhere online they are selling for a lot more than what you have listed.
I have a 2017 Greyhound 1/4 which was being sold on here for £430 recently but I've seen them sell online over the last few months for between £550 and £720 so I think it just depends if you are willing to wait or not for a buyer that wants the specific coin.
Bullionbypost may even offer more than what you have them listed for here which is crazy to say.

I purchased a spade and the first time I tried to use it, it snapped. That kind of thing became commonplace, and I probably wouldn't go back to Italy for the above and some other reasons, but I know a lot of people who like it there and wouldn't swap it.
That's funny that you mention that because I pointed out the old style method of blacksmithing that was used to connect the spade head to the wooden shaft when we walked past builders in Montenegro and I told my partner how that connection is an old method which is more effective as more surface area connects with the shaft unlike in the UK where spades are made to break quickly so you buy a new one. I noticed this when I was in Berlin as well when the street workers had these same long handled shovels which were far better quality.
What you have said it exactly my thoughts with a move. People are so much more pleasant and not so closed minded like in the UK. I find that everyone seems to think that they know everything and its getting worse as people have such little tolerance for each others opinions. I've never noticed this abroad (except in the US)
That is very interesting to hear. I loved Austria but like you say the cost is excessive. I found Chambery to be a lot cheaper than I expected but France isn't the top of my list due more to politics and other issues but I would love to find somewhere mountainous with a good cost of living as well with the modern services like you mentioned. I appreciate the overviews, definitely has given me a lot of food for thought!

I have been trying to work out how to cancel by paid subscription to the forum but so far it appears to be set up in a way that does not allow you to simply cancel at any time.
I saw in a post that users can cancel anytime but there does not appear to be an option to do so. I have also messaged the admin but am yet to receive a response so wanted to ask if anyone knows of a simple way to just turn the subscription off to prevent incurring a charge?
Very grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks
