Percentage wise it has done better, but nobody is really locking in those profits as silver coins still sell significantly lower in relation to their spot.
On the other hand gold is already selling at its new spot or spot + %.

It is somewhat confusing that gold has caught up with its spot, while silver has the spot bot not selling at it, at least not yet.

Wonder what happens next and when will the new price/premiums start hitting the market (outside of dealers or manufacturers)

*** NOW ALL SOLD, thank you***

    Hi everyone,

I have a number of 1 oz silver Austrian Silver Philharmoniker coins up for sale. 34 in total (34 sold 0 remain) in total to be precise.

So I have had a close look at the quality of these coins and can say they are 90%-95% spotted or milked (ranging from lightly to heavily). You can see the condition of each coin in the pics below, the spotting/milking is a known fact with silver Philharmonikers. All of the coins come in capsules.

As a result, gonna put up a special to clear them - first of all have a look at the two lots I have below in their entirety. All prices below include registered airmail postage with tracking.

    First lot is here -

    Second lot is here -

    (b) Coins will be chosen at random from any lot by me with no bias or preference
    (c) First two (2) coins in any purchased lot will be sold at xxx ROUNDED UP to the nearest half pound (please quote forum spot price at time of buzz)
    (d) Third coin onwards will be sold at an extra £xxx per coin on top of the price in (c) above

For customs purposes I will not post more than 10 coins in a single package.

As always, I will ensure every single coin is securely and discreetly wrapped and labelled not to attract any unwanted attention from customs (my record is 100% on this point as I take painstaking care to specially wrap each coin). I have just had confirmation that I will be getting a £2500 payment. I will also be getting £27.89 in postage refund and a £50 goodwill payment to "Restore my confidence in the service they provide"
    Totally crazy.
I asked for a £250 goodwill payment to split the difference on the £500 in losses I am facing from the difference in price of silver and the other losses from hallmarking/postage etc.
The CEO office reply was simply, No.

It would seem they have chosen "Trial by combat"
Crazy that if the Royal Mail finds my package they could just sell the silver for £2800 spot price and be in profit over £200
    It has happened before...

Would not put it past them.
If this happens eventually there will be some very strongly worded videos produced and a number of solicitors letters sent me thinks.

    Iran Vs Israel.
If Israel responds to last night's attacks by Iran, it's easy to see how the conflict could escalate and other countries get sucked in. Biden has pledged U.S. support for Israel and, doubtless, we in the U.K. will do something similar. If Iran starts to struggle against the combined might of its foes, Russia will - likely as not - come to the aid of its beleaguered ally. Under those circumstances, WWIII is not only a distinct possibility, it's a probability. What's desperately needed is someone with the leadership, gravitas, moral backbone and authority to step in and get everyone to see sense. Sadly, there's no world leader who fits the bill.

It might add a few pennies to low cost electronics but the silver price is negligible compared with the price of an iPhone (0.34g of silver) or a laptop. It would affect solar panels (20g+ for an average 2m^2 panel) and EVs (a few ounces) but silver is not the primary cost driver in those technologies. The manufacturers can shrug off silver mooning but they can't shrug off oil, labour, shipping costs or regulation/taxation

I mean only that this feels similar to how that run up felt. Waking up each morning to 1-2% rises.
I don't pretend to know what will happen this time. 🙂
As I already have a reasonable position, I can enjoy this leg up rather than trying to buy everything in sight through FOMO.
I started buying in August 2010, so it was a baptism of fire.

I think we're all in the same boat mate. Shocking how we much we get taxed and how little we get in return. Wait until next month with council tax up 10%, utilities (broadband, phone contracts, etc) up 8.8%. It's a joke, some might say theft and I might agree

Interestingly I do not see as many people selling silver lately - is it because everyone is confused and waiting for the price to settle at some range?
