Pretty sure there was someone on the forum a few months ago who made a good few sales and ended up getting banned? He took payment without sending the bar.

Well anyone could do that.

New members with throwaway accounts have the biggest potential to scam. They have no reputation to lose.

Mitigate risk however you see fit, whether that's with new members or not.
