  1. has anyone heard any news/update on the dispatch of the 2oz gold 'plain edge' from their RM account manager? i was told delivery was due mid January, in early December Is this still the case ? or anyone spoke to their account manager recently for an update ?
  2. Sit on for a year or two can't see much down side risk at all. Graded even better Just painful watching the Flip-er-at-i at present, getting the sheckles they can get to pay the Jan credit card bill
  3. Race to the bottom sadly the hard wired ' potential' of these is guaged by the ' lack ' of availability in the secondary market. Absolute abundance doesn't do that. sadly as each and every new issue comes out it is not the market that was 'nicely lucrative ' whilst it lasted . The fun of trying to secure an edge / earn a drink/profit
  4. It will prop up the values of 'proper' in demand coins
  5. Thanks for posting the review on this firm. I'd never heard of them but always nice to have another dealer to source from
  6. £425 is the latest price for 2oz gothic crown I saw on FB collectors group in past 12hourd . It sold quick enough
  7. Bite the bullet, try to source full proof sovereigns for 2022 this year, grade, and hold for five plus years. Thanks me later
  8. It was nice while it lasted, even if it was just to read Eva's email responses here to disgruntled buyers lol
  9. Paul

    I'm wrong?

My anorexic piggy bank has swine flu this January
  10. I notice a few of the 2oz gold have sold on feebay past few days now
  11. That's a lovely appreciated offer, but Royal mint credit account is already low five figures, owed Iout, 'm paying off got feeling that 2oz gold might have appeal in years to come.......might be the silent sleeper of 2022 who knows
  12. I'm in the same boat Lionel. Can't buy everything. The 2oz gold may have a good chance of upside/ unexpected popularity once graded. Im Sticking with proof soveriegns from 2022 won't set the world alight overnight, but five years plus down the road x2-x4 on our original costs wont be unrealistic or daft . Sound solid slow burn appreciation
  13. It just dawned on me that none of us will ever see another platinum jubilee in our lifetime, HODL everything from this year. Years to come may be well worth it ............
  14. A possible diamond in the rough??? 2oz gold certainly seem to have a sweet spot for collectors once graded. All slabs standard size, packs a lot of value in a small space
  15. Tempted at your deal but simply don't have the funds. Buying 2oz gold's ain't good for the bank balance too many good releases in so many short months and more to follow (gothic portrait in march)
  16. I'm out for a beer at mo, but off memory, list price on feebay was 11500 and sold via best offer. Seller was trusted dealer cameo coins. Pop a search in eBay completed sales "2oz gold coin"
  17. Marks out of 10? Does it wow in the flesh? In hand. I saw one sold on feebay yesterday via best offer, on first day of listing
  18. Congrats Lionel the five pound gold should be keeper for sure long term I think. I missed the 2oz gold which may have a little potential. Having the keep £5k free for march for 2nd gothic crown gold plain edge and still got 2022 proof soveriegns to pay off. I would break the set, grade them all, keep the £5gold , are move the rest on to cover your costs
  19. Search out 2oz gold 2022 on eBay UK and you'll see the listings Lionel, hope you're well
  20. Plain edge gold gothic 2oz is only 125 mintage Lionel
  21. don't know - just copied and pasted it over here - it wasn't my coin
  22. I saw a couple of the 2oz gold have made it onto feebay already priced £11,500 and £14,000 See if they get a nibble
