  1. I think you should go all out for the 2 kg. gold. What the hell, life is short! Just do it!
  2. I'm a nervous wreck! I can't sleep, can't eat, and I am barely surviving on tranquilizers. I may not make it until tomorrow. If I do, there's a good chance I will simply collapse and miss the whole thing. First, Charles I and now this in the same week. My life is being shortened with each release of the Royal Mint! 😭
  3. “Only a Face a Mother Could Love”……I’d love to see this engraved on the edge of the portrait coin!
  4. I have the same faint mark. This reverse side is definitely not proof (looks more matte), and it seems to be something in the minting. Lots of these 2 oz. silvers have this issue. Doesn't really bother me because I have no plans to have it graded, and the mark is faint.
  5. The Royal Mint has issued an awful lot of coins lately. Seems like they are turning their production department into the Royal Sweat Shop. I would assume that quality will be worse than it already is with so many coins coming off the presses. Plus, they are making it quite upsetting for collectors without a bottomless pocket.
  6. Simon's original coin has the obverse slightly concave (to show off the king better) and the reverse slightly convex. I wonder if this coin will be the same?
  7. It seems obvious to me that these are added back to stock once the account reps release the ones they've been holding. The 1 oz. (and I also believe 2 oz.) were unavailable as soon as the coins went on sale. Then.....voila!
  8. Yes, this is a nice design. I ordered the 1 oz. and 2 oz. silver.
  9. The same thing happened to me over an hour ago. Unavailable then available again. Not sure how the RM works. But, then again, is anyone??
  10. I love the design of this Britannia! Ordered the 2-coin set.
  11. I think the Bull of Clarence is acceptable. Then again, I accept all the other bull put out by the Royal Mint!
  12. As an international customer of the RM, I wonder why I was not informed of this.
  13. Mine will be arriving today. The RM actually sent this coin to me here in the U.S. via DHL. That's the first time that happened. Maybe they want to get them out of the U.K. quickly!
  14. The 2 oz. King Arthur is available again. It has kept showing unavailable and then available again over the past few days.
  15. I like it because it sort of suggests movement and provides a nice background. Just my opinion.
  16. The 95 quid for the slabbed and signed PF70 1 oz. King Arthur is definitely a mistake. Take a look at the prices of the PF69s!
  17. I bought the 2 oz. King Arthur. Good enough for me. Not interested in the slabbed and signed privied version. It's enough already! The RM keeps pumping out coins while they have a problem filling their past orders.
  18. Wow, I received my Edward VII 1 oz. and 2 oz. from a dealer several weeks ago. I would contact the RM.
  19. Thanks! Music from my youth. Such fun times! Back then, I used to collect records (like this one). Now, I collect coins. (A bit more expensive). Soon, I shall be collecting dust and dirt. 😭
  20. I love the Henry VIII image because it makes me chuckle. Ordered the 1 oz. and 2 oz. to match the others in my collection.
  21. Yes, looks like he had too big of a meal and is about to let out a loud one.
