Browsing Britannia Coins website this morning and it appears they have some stuff that is on a fixed price and not tracking spot For example shields are the same price today as they were last Friday https://britanniacoincompany.com/buy-coins/gold-coins/full-sovereign-victoria-young-head-shield-back/ Given they were selling on here at £425/430 when spot was at £1600 this seems a decent price right now

Until yesterday Gold was around the same in March of this and April of last year, so not sure this really indicates anything other that you co-incidentally bought tubes on separate years at a similar spot price

As backwards as it sounds, best time to sell, When it starts going up there will be an initial rush to pick up any still advertised at the 'old' rate but as soon as sellers put up their prices everyone closes their wallets to wait and see what happens. Only talking about P2P sales of course, but that seems to me to be the pattern. I sold 17 sovereigns last week and I am glad I did (honest)

Oddly it was 4 airtite tubes worth I bought back from storage to sort some duplicates out, I thought 80 was obvious and someone would get it. I decided to play with my toys while I had them at home and took some pictures Should not tell that really in case I do it again, I wont do a round number next time though (or will I......lol)
