  1. This one - https://www.earthstoneonline.co.uk/trajan-silver-roman-denarius-coin-trophy-reverse
  2. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces253249.html Front looks like Trajan, if that helps
  3. Received in the post this morning, 1897 Queen Victoria Official Diamond Jubilee Silver Medals
  4. To give you a bench mark on graded @Arne this is mine. If I sold it on here I would likely pitch it about £550-560. I think this is the last grade before they get to silly money. Though given their popularity recently I would be more likely to consign this were I to sell, even at MS62. Knowing me though I will keep hold of it then sell it when the market for them goes through the floor 🤷‍♂️
  5. The young heads look fine, they have had a wipe at some point but most sovereigns that old have, I would not say your young heads look worn enough to be under 7.9, what sort of scales are you using?, are they Amazon or eBay specials? Do you have a test weight to calibrate your scales? You can always pop into a jewellers and ask them to weigh them, their scales will be super accurate.
  6. If the rim looks like that in hand and it’s not just your picture then I would be concerned. May just be you are looking at it next to young heads. I will have a better look tomorrow when I’m on the laptop
  7. Close but no biscuit, I have a 1917 but no 18
  8. Two special design 1/4oz Britannia, boxed with COA £460 £450 £445 each plus post (£7 RMSD) UK mainland & NI only, BT or PPF&F 2010 1/4oz Gold Coin Britannia Proof Total mintage of 1670 Obverse: The obverse bears the fourth definitive UK coin portrait by Ian Rank-Davies. Reverse: The reverse bears the engraving of Britannia by Suzie Zamit 2017 1/4oz Gold Coin Britannia Proof Total mintage of 1052 Obverse: The obverse bears the fifth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark. Reverse: Designed by British art student, Louis Tamlyn, this stunning engraving combines the figure of Britannia with the outline of Great Britain.
  9. I have two, paid around £400 for both, neither is fantastic though and I did get lucky picking both up from bullion listings I would pay a very good price for an 1874 Shield, which I do not have.
  10. If they are not polished or really badly worn take them, any half decent shield is worth £415+ Your 1872M are rares btw.
  11. Rare year, some knocks to the rim but nothing too bad Doesn't appear to be a variant but still a desirable year. Maybe try an auction if you don't know what you want for it, there are a few shield collectors on the site. I would not pay too much attention to eBay prices even the sold ones, I did have a quick look on TCC for you though and these were the last two sold Yours would not grade above the AU55 I don't think, so I would guess your looking at £450-£470 on here. Remember there is 6%+VAT buyers commission on the numbers above to take into account.
  12. Recently sourced the last one I needed for this run, run includes a couple of variants hence there being more than one of some years The easiest of the Young Head date runs to complete there being no Rare's to source, though a couple did prove tricky to get in an acceptable condition Needed to share with someone who would not just roll their eyes at me
  13. New shield today in a year that I have found particularly hard to get hold of, 1887 Young Head, Sydney in this case Not a perfect coin, but a year I feel you should grab if you see it as they come up so rarely. Rates as scarce in Marsh with exactly 1,000,000 minted but that is split over the the shields and George and dragon and I see a LOT of the G&D. I suspect if the split in mintage was known this would be a rare as a minimum. The Melbourne of the same year is rated as R3 with a mintage of 1.9m over the two reverses 🤷‍♂️
  14. You can return regardless, covered under distance selling, I have returned more to them than I have kept in the past few years. It got that frustrating I stopped buying silver from them at the start of 2023 and sold the partial sets I had
  15. Three proof sovereigns available as one lot, Clearing out the last of my proof half's Boxed with COA, one is missing the outer box (coronation I think) £890 for the three, posted SD. UK mainland or NI only, BT or PPF&F. Happy to provide individual pictures when the light is better. Not splitting for now, but will consider trades for full sovereigns with cash either way. Preference for Gillicks or Victoria Young Heads, but any year considered if the condition is good. Will also consider fractional Brits (bullion or proof)
  16. Looks cheap this, and if anyone doubts here are recent auction results from TCC, all of which would have had commission on top - minimum of 6%+VAT
  17. Welcome, kiss any spare cash you have goodbye though
  18. If there is any family history of prostate cancer under 60 they recommend PSA screening from 40 (just a blood test that checks your PSA levels which is an indicator of prostate cancer) From 50 you can request one from the doctor regardless of family history.
