  1. Well yes. But your sentence makes perfect sense. When did a government take the good of the population or nation into account rather than the voters.
  2. I'm a swing voter, I would say it would be a massive mistake for a goverenment to Tax gold buying. The Bank of England has only a small amount of Gold of its own though it holds a lot of gold, With private individuals holding Gold, the UK has more Gold than other countries beleive. The same happened with silver every time the silver price goes high massive amounts of sterling silver come onto the market. The population should be encouraged to hold Gold. Its good for the individual and the Country.
  3. Silver again here we go. The thing is for me its no longer a buy with big premiums and the VAT on top.
  4. I had a bad experence years ago with Ebay. They were running a 20% off all items at the time. All the members of the forum which then amounted to about 20 ordered gold from Ebay. I ordered a Sovereign from Bullion BY Post who at the time in the Ebay advert stated that the item would be sent out by Royal Mail special delivery. The package was sent out signed for and went to a different address in my town. It was Royal Mail who sorted it out. Royal Mail who told me the coin had been sent back to Bullion By Post and they had received the coin, at no time did Bullion By Post inform me. I also obtained a full refund from Ebay only because i had escalated it. I remember the whole incident being a right mess at the time. I have never or will never shop at Bullion BY Post ever again.
  5. I agree with Pete as I remember this. In my time i have sold a stack and when it is time to sell its mainly Dealers who have the money.
  6. Interest rates should of gone up at least 0.5% to 1.25%
  7. I've bought from them a few times. Everything went ok. Using your Banks Fraud department is strange, companies can make mistakes. I take it your complaint is Bleyer Bullion are trying to get out of a contract because the metals price has risen significantly and they would make a lose in the trade you have with them.? You will be able to get your money back easily through your bank if you paid by debit card. Though myself i would want to try and find out what has gone wrong and take delivery at the contracted price. If Bleyer want your passport then i cannot see that being a problem to get your delivery myself. Ask them on the forum
  8. oz silver sold out when i was checking out so just missed it.
  9. i gor 850 so it odds on i wont get anything
  10. Does that mean the RM have sent loads off for grading and all that have not hot 70 they are selling today to us
  11. not sure its going to make money, one for the collectors, i am going to look though.
  12. For what i have seen on Youtube and read on line, it's a very murky business whats gone on. IMO Checking prices between 70 - 69 -68 downwards loses could run into the £10,000 for some coin collectors.
  13. My 2oz silver is in fantastic condition. The RM have done a great job.
  14. My 2oz Silver has landed. I'm surprised i was told Feb anyway. Very Nice. I am not going to get it graded and i have already showed around the family who all smiled and wonder why it is in a plastic container.
  15. IMO 0.25% is still rubbish if we all remember 2-5% is normal . These are supoosed to be emergency measures that were brought in donkies years ago. Mrs Pipers has done nothing but moan about the price of shopping this year yeas even more than she has talked about covid.
  16. For a few pounds you will have your coin looked at and the worst you will have the same coin and its cost you postage both ways. A win in my book. 👍
  17. I bought a coin from an Auction who used RMSD It arrived to my delivery office fine, then it was sent to Manchester where they opened it checked it said it was ok then sent it to me. So i don't know whats at Manchester.
  18. The thing is, i was told the other day. some people rang the Royal Mint and were disgusting to the sales and customer services which is not on. I myself did not manage to get the first two coins in the series but i did not ring the RM and shout down the phone at employees. IMO Coin collecting / Numismatics does not need people who shout or use disgusting language in its hobby
  19. I just rang them and i was told they are minting 500 a week of the 2oz silver to the max mintage and no more.
  20. From your youtube videos i think we know you refund BYB.
