apachebleu got a reaction from KRO in Cheap soverigns this way boys (now even cheaper)
I have 2 slightly scruffy, well handled soverigns for sale. A 1901 and 1974, very sought after years (potentially by someone, not sure who though). They are not the prettiest and certainly not collectors item, just stacking bullion.
I can't see anywhere selling cheaper than 395 so thats the price however i will include special delivery and a (not very) high quality plastic slip.
The coins are a bit nicer than the pictures but still it's just old bullion.
Payment by bank transfer please

It's all relative I suppose, I cant see them cheaper anywhere online and I'm including special delivery so realistically that's about 387. A decent enough price considering the Internet told me we're going to 3000 an ounce soon (I can't site an exact source but you can definitely trust me on this)

I agree, and also these were released later than the proofs so these and the piedforts are actually the last qe2 sovereigns released, they may well have their day

I'd probably try to get a graded proof rather than the bullion.
For comparison I paid 2500 for an ms70 jubillee matte quintuple, you'd be damn near double that for a proof, people just don't seem to appreciate the matte quintuple. Then again they also don't appreciate the memorial sov.

Glad to hear other people have had the same service. I've bought from all the main dealers and its always the same, I think they forget that a bullion purchase is a big deal to most people and they should make it feel special.
When I bought my current car it was from a dealer in Coventry which is a flight away from me, the garage owner picked me up personally in his own 911 at the train station, took me to the garage, gave me a tour of the place and let me drool over lots of amazing cars I can't afford. That garage are probably getting my business forever because it felt like they actually cared about me as a customer....unlike the bmw garage I visited before then and got treated like a homeless person that had walked in off the streets .

It was certainly over 2500, I actually bought one from the mint on release and returned it due to fingerprints. I bought mine from @Spanishsilver on here. I would add I may have got a good deal because he has a slightly unusual domestic arrangement that may make buyers question him however I've bought a few things from him and knew he was legit.

That was a very decent price. I don’t know the RM issue price for the raw Platinum Jubilee BU quintuple but Sovereign Rarities had an MS70 First Releases label one which was priced just the wrong side of £3K which I decided to buy last November.
By then the RM was showing the raw version as sold out, but with a price of £2.9K. I assume the price had been bumped up since the issue date but £2.5K for your MS70 quintuple surely has to be hard to beat. So hats off to you.
