Even allowing for the way you may shoot these coins they look amazing! They look like they were just minted!🤔😮 I wish I had some spare ££🤔🤔😮

You really captured the lustre. Amazing!
I find light scratches visible in images this good don't show on coins without magnification (at least not with my eyes)
I bought a young Vic shield sovereign on an online auction, and when I received it, it looked even better 'in the flesh. If an image is fuzzy or not close up enough I usually pass.

No secret Mik - I use a version of the Axial method used by the Photographer from Chards (documented on the Forum), and a few other folks 😁
My setup is a bit Heath Robinson, but does seem to give reasonable results for an ancient Android phone 👍

Sorry for the late update, was working the late shift! I called my bank this morning, they took all the info and said they would get back to me in a few days. They didn't come outright and say that it wasn't possible to retrieve the money transferred, but it sounded like the guy was pretty much reading from a script so don't hold out much hope!
I will let everyone know hows it pans out when my bank gets back in touch
On the plus side, thanks so much to all the members for the continued messages of support and especially BackyardBullion for offering his help.

You just don’t know but you get smart and get a hunch.
I’ve only been on here a short time and wasn’t going to send money to just anyone but I see who posts everyday and you can see the interaction between folk and you can tell they know each other well so on 2 occasions I’ve happily sent money for two coins to 2 different folk and got what I paid for.
On the flip side I had zero feedback and another member that posts all the time sent me hundreds of pounds for 12x 1oz silver coins and I kept him updated at all times via pm with tracking etc and we concluded the deal both of us were happy.
