I have for sale these £20 and £50 coins struck in 999 silver.
These are legal tender which means they can be legally used for their face value to settle debts. How this works in practice is less certain!
They often sell for more than their face value.
    Churchill at £17 each
    Other £20s £18 per coin
    Platinum Wedding SOLD
    £50 Britannias £43 each

BRICS Announces New Blockchain-Based Crypto Payment System (watcher.guru)
Precious metals markets are roughly 15 times larger than crypto markets. All else being equal, you need greater capital acceleration in metals to get the same price action as in crypto
If the price of BTC continues to rise then it will take more and more capital to get the same kind of price action, assuming no supply shocks, manipulations, squeezes, etc
The dynamic of global capital, gold and BTC is interesting. Never before has it been possible for so much capital ($7.5 trillion+ daily FOREX) to flow around the world in such a short period of time. Crypto waxes and wanes, just as quickly as global capital can pump markets, they can deflate them. Gold is different, more than just a regular commodity or financial asset. Gold is strength and stability, globally recognised, culturally important, a physical asset. The banks are stacking physical gold not ETFs precisely because they never want to sell. Those record capital flows will continue in gold and not reverse due to the nature of physical assets. With digital assets it can go from $70 to $15 in days, it can go from €60K to €48K (23.7%) in seconds, as happened with the BTC/euro flash crash 5 days ago

You will get a much better coin than that on this forum. Under no circumstance buy that coin for that amount. I can sell you a much better 1870 with 8 over 7 date that makes it classed as scarce for about the same price, maybe £5 more.

These are lovely little coins. My Mum used to have earrings made with a pair of them so I have a strong attraction. With a gold content value of £97 the premiums are just to high. I wouldn't buy a sovereign for £800 and I like them better!

There's similar features on the words "dollar" and "america, but this is the reverse side. I'm not really familiar with doubled die errors, but since it is inconsistently on both sides, I assume that this is further evidence of it being a flaw in the counterfeiting?

It has a some kind of doubled feature on both sides, most prominently at the bottom of the bust, I'm guessing because it's fake. Interesting coin if it is real though, and available with authenticity guarantee if anyone is interested - although I doubt the retailer will reimburse the grading fee if it comes back not genuine.
"The Little Giant" - They are the smallest coins ever made by the US mint. But they have a rich history associated with the California gold rush. They're really cool coins imo.
Is that specific one worth £200? If it's real, and problem free, yes, but their prices do vary quite a lot. If there's a doubled-die or such mint error, it's worth more (i'm not an expert, happy to be corrected)
