  1. Do you think they would be a good investment? I've been offered one
  2. It seems to me then they should sell their bullion coins closer to "spot" if they think it doesn't affect the value... as we, in the UK pay a hefty premium above it (including VAT).. Maybe we should charge them VAT (Vanquish All Tarnish) when we buy them 🙂
  3. That is absolutely shocking........... I started "collecting" RM goods because I believed they were the best in the world... now every time I order something its like "Russian Roulette". I hope your video has someone from the Mint watching as this is becoming a joke. Is it worth collecting these things anymore? my money is slowly drifting towards order, more robust coins that have a better character and quite honestly, will be around longer than some of these will be.. Shame on you RM
  4. Yep @Alun makes beautiful boxes for all 11 coins
  5. 612.00 inc. VAT and delivery Sharps Pixley for 2021 Britannia's 1oz Britannia Silver Coin | Buy Britannia Silver Coins Online (sharpspixley.com)
  6. So even after Brexit then the EU directive is still in place 🙂
  7. Yeah.. 250 in this presentation and overall 860
  8. I think its me be overly critical.... and is just the way the frosting is applied
  9. tiny little spots... under deep magnification.. I will see if I can get a better picture
  10. Just got delivery of mine... Need to look deeper at the frosting as... not to sure its correct... Then again I do have it under a 60 x magnifier 🙂
  11. That's probably in sets then... and yes that's not good
  12. So... on the quiet RM released a 2oz version of their Britannia Silver Proof... 250 mintage
  13. Ok I know these have been getting a bad rep.... but as mine are away for grading and I saw these ( at a very reasonable price) I thought why not... if some of the others don't do well I have these... and must say in very good condition and no issues on any of them
  14. Well it certainly would be good... but we are paying for Brexit, Covid and seeing increasing inflation.... the growth they predict may just get us back to flat from the last 18 months... but 7%.... well not sure about that
  15. From experience Non Farm payrolls do not necessarily state the strength or weakness of the US economy.... How the markets can say because of that everything is rosy is amazing..... 🙂 but the markets are looking for areas or high returns and PMs isn't cutting it at the moment so there is always an over reaction
  16. Not received today but a few days ago but as @DuncanWylieWilson was mentioned earlier he gets some lovely coins. These are particularly good
  17. you can ask them to source coins for you so I would imagine they have people buy from the forum cheap and sell on 🙂
  18. RM prices are always a higher than can be achieved else where. They view as buying from them is a guaranteed level of authenticity. The question of price on the forum is not an easy one as you could view TSF as a centre of excellence and knowledge therefore people tend to understand value but is based on a marketplace of individuals. External to this is the wider public buying where they view RM as a "safe" (this does not mean TSF isn't) method to purchase products. I know quality has been an issue for RM on some releases but you have a perceived greater level of buyer security. Does that warrant such a premium? That is for the individual to determine
  19. Yeah there was one.. I just didn't get it... No longer available now
  20. so does that mean you would have top charge VAT to sell them on then? and when I mean you.. I mean as in Dealers
  21. I know.... the view on here is its overpriced, over minted .... But I never had a bullion one and must say...I like it.... If we bought everything just as an investment then what a poor world we would live in.. 🙂
