Finally - the first two of my three Indian Head $5 gold coins, 1908 & 1909 -which i picked up today in the US. Happy with them both - love the details and the incuse design. Just as well - given that they are pretty expensive compared to sovereigns of similar vintage!, but i am pretty sure they will retain their numi value.   

Couple of purchases.
1 x pl70 2012 quarter sov
1 x $10 ms62 1902 coin.
I dont have the mega bucks of some of you guys so the ms62 is my most expensive purchase to date  
With these i have hit 4.5oz gold and 251oz silver.

Nice buy. Not the rarest year but not the most common either. They can go for a fair whack at times.

Quite excited with this - a 1961 Iceland 500 Kronor gold (0.900) coin; not many of these come available. Stock picture attached - hoping mine is in reasonably similar condition!. Was the first gold coin ever issued by Iceland.  
Coming south from Reykjavik in the coming weeks....
 
Also picked up another gold $5 Indian Head. This one from 1911; another US purchase on the eBay. Three down now..1908, 1909 and 1911
will post pics when the coins arrive ( haven't seen any of my 3 Indian heads yet ! ).

My 20 FF's arrived from HGM.
Both of the 'Guardian Angel' type. Very happy at £146.03 each landed.

A 1909 Indian Head gold $5. Not slabbed, so could be a bit of a lottery on the condition.  Will post pics next month when I get it from the US. That's 1908 and 1909 done - a few more to get!
