today I received my Britannia 6 coin set 2014.
the smallest coin is so tiny and funny. Omg, why a 1/40 oz coin?
Nice coins.where did you buy them from ?

I've not bought anything recently due to needing cash elsewhere, but silver is looking very cheap again with these recent falls. What are the chances it will stay that way until pay day? (Dont answer that!) Gold still looks a touch expensive.
It will drop lower for sure ,sit back and watch it full

Ahh yes of course the old xrf machine (never heard of it lol)
How much do they charge for testing it for you?
They wont charge you anything in jewelry quarter if you are thinking of selling, they will test it give you a price for it,then it's up to you if want to sell.
-
I wouldn't buy a gold bar off ebay unless it was from a reputable dealer I knew
That or I knew how to test it.. and to test it you have to take it out of the card which I assume would bother people when it comes time to sell it
Just seems like a worry to have one
Get it tested with a xrf machine by a jeweler, you don't have to take it out of it's sealed packet.

I have been tempted to buy a house to rent out ,but not quite sure whats going to happen to the housing market. I can buy for cash, but not sure if i would want to put all my money into property, even though i refurbish houses for my friends that have bought to rent out.
-
I am afraid this is cash, but the next will have to fund itself with part mortgage.
what part of the country did you buy in? were not tempted to use the banks money instead of all own cash, just in case there is a property crash.
-
Another House........
did you pay for it in cash or gold?

I'm as guilty as the next man, but let's try and keep this thread on topic.

Nope. I just looked it up after you mentioned the price. It was a really poor put together auction though. Naff photos and virtually zero details.
I did think that myself morezone, photos were totally blurred which i thought he may have been trying to hide something. But was willing to take a chance on it as paypal would of refunded if it was fake.
-
I wouldn't worry about the eBay coin.
Sounds a bit dodgy to me ,so did you win the coin morezone. I reckon he wanted more for it,and using that as a excuse .I just read the question on that coin, funny half hour before it finished there wasn't anything mentioned about it being stolen, and if he couldn't take it off, which is bulls..t,he could have edited is advert saying he had no longer had it for sale.total w....r.
