If you could only stack one coin, what would it be?

Edit: referring to silver coins

If it were only one type of coin I think I might give up on them and stack bars instead.

But if it has to be coins, it would be gold sovereigns.

I should have said silver coin. This topic is in the silver section ;)

Well, my very first coin was a silver eagle, so very tempted to pick them, but I think nationalism just about wins on this - I'm going to have to agree with Danny and say the Britannia

Pandas (surprise surprise). I like the changing design.

I think this might have to be my choice too. Though kookaburras would be a close 2nd

This is a hard one. I know what I WOULDN'T stack: Canadian Maples

Looking at a couple of Maples right now and i can't see what the trouble is. Perfect 2012 no milk spots and no scratches to the visable eye kept in the poly bag they arrived in.

Yes i've seen bad ones and they are bad, that's why i've only got a couple.

I couldn't seriously stack Maples.

For a straight bullion coin it would have to be the Noah's Ark 1oz.

for pure British pride, I'd go Britannia's also, however I would be tempted to go for something pre 1920 like full crowns

I like the pre crowns. I don't have any, but I can see me going down a bit of a numi route at some point.

Just wish the sterling stuff wasn't so expensive.

Stacker since 2013

on that note Danny, I've been picking up pre Australian silver coins in bulk close to spot recently in Australia and I was wondering if I should bulk up on them before I move back to swap around the forum if interested? I might start another thread if so
