closed Auction - Wearable 14ct jewellery (beautiful and too good to scrap)

Good afternoon, dear friends!

I have prepared a very nice batch of .583 gold jewellery, old, beautiful and too good to destroy them for melting pot. Many of them are with natural red coral, other are with sapphire, citrine, opal, tanzanite, iolite, etc in good preloved condition.

Please read carefully:

Obviously, being 14ct gold, all these pieces are from overseas, so there are not british hallmarks.

Some of them have dutch, lithuanian, french or italian hallmarks. Few rings, due resizing have not any hallmark present. 

All these pieces are carefully acid tested by me with and are guaranteed minimum .583 gold purity. Two pieces (coral earrings and rose coral pendant with small chain) are 18ct, but I will keep it simple, all is calculated at 14ct.

The total weight is 45.87g. I have deducted 25% from this weight for stones, so we will consider them as 34.40g gold with .583 purity. To be honest it is difficult to estimate, but the coral skeleton density is very low, (about 1.6g/cm3) comparing with gold 14ct (13g-14g/cm3), so I think the 25% deducted are more than generous.

Let's consider the weight of gold of 34.40g, with a melting value today (£1590/oz) of £1025.

This will be the starting price, minimum increments £5.

Please, read carefully all the description and study the pictures before bidding.

The auction will start now and will end tomorrow night, Tuesday 23rd, at 20.00pm with 1 min soft close.

If will not be bidders on this auction, I will cry a little, I will remove the stones and will send these to a refiner. But I really want to give them a chance for a new life.

The parcel will be sent on Wednesday afternoon, SD. Postage cost fully insured will be included in the final bid.

After nobody was bidding £1025 on this auction, I have done what I have tried to avoid: I have removed all the stones from these beautiful made jewellery pieces and I have sent yesterday the scrap gold to refiner. (Thank you, @ilovesilverireallydo, impeccable service!🤗).

The scrap was melted down, assayed and I have been paid very quickly 98% from today's spot. Total received: £1177.46.

Sad to destroy those beauties, but finally happy to have £152 more in my pocket.
