Hello,

I am new to this forum and am interested in reselling and collecting mainly silver because my budget is just over a grand. I discovered this forum from backyard bullion and would be grateful in anyone had any youtube recommendations and recommendations on what to buy for my first bit of silver.

Welcome to the forum @MaxBetteridge. Most people start by stacking Brittanias to avoid CGT. That might be a good place for you to start from. Good luck with your stacking!

Buy something cheap and nice. If you're lucky it will be CGT-exempt 1oz Britannias from 2021 onwards but check condition. If you can find coins without milk spots and in a nice capsule, that's an extra bonus. All coins are good buys though at the right price. CGT-exempt is an important feature but it only applies to profit. If you are spending £1K you don't need to worry about CGT so you can buy whatever you want really. As your stack grows then CGT becomes more important

Snap. Me too, I found my way here from his YT channel as well. Hats off to Mr @BackyardBullion I watch a couple of other YTers too, but I can't answer for who else covers silver because I'm just here for the gold. You've come to the right place though, if you have any questions just ask and someone is sure to help you. I've gone from zero to hero in just 2 months, I mean that I knew nothing and now know far more than I ever imagined I would since joining.
