All my Pobjoy Mint coins (gold and silver) were accumulated in time under spot or very close to spot.

Its got three letters in and the middle letter is a vowel and the first lettter of the alphabet and the first and third letter are the same letter

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

My Pobjoy 1977 full/half were picked up on a FB auction with quite a few people bidding on them. Based on 2 private messages I’ve had previously, both would sell at a tidy profit

Yes, unfortunately, they did go down hill a little from those heady days of the 70s😮😮

I am in the fortunate position of owning two of these beauties as my Wife and I are in the top 100 collectors for 2023 the final year of the Pobjoy Mint.

I wonder if I should undercut this character on eBay?

What’s on the dvd?🤔

I haven't watched it.

It says corporate dvd on it so I assume they had a load of dvd's knocking about the warehouse so they sent it out to their high rollers rather than put them in a skip.

I believe this to be Pobjoy Mint?

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

This is my tribute to the Pobjoy mint Sovereign.

For me it’s one of the more legitimate ‘Other’ sovereigns to be produced - a quality coin on behalf of the I.of M.
Note that one is made of ‘yellow’ gold compared with the R.M.s ‘red’ gold, but both sporting Arnold Machins obverse portrait. I believe the 1973 is the only sovereign minted that year. Perhaps they will appreciate in value what with the shut down next month.

As for ‘other’ Mints & Marketing companies, I will leave that rant for another day - you know the ones I mean, who target the General Public with very expensive alternatives……!
