This Silver Coin is nearly 2000 years old!

Hello everyone,

This arrived today, completely different to the usual silver I buy, but thought it would be of interest to some people. 

Does anyone else own this type of silver? I would be interested to see some photos/videos if you do!

Without looking at the video, it's a denarius of Hadrian.

I do have some denarii, no pictures at present though.

From memory: Nero, Trajan, Domitian, Antoninus Pius, Septimius Severus and Severus Alexander.

Plus a few copper coins from the late empire, Licinius etc.

I’d be interested to hear what the oldest silver coin is in everyone’s collection? This to date is still the oldest one I own!

My oldest is an Athenian owl tetradrachm from around 300 BC.

This is one I found three years ago, fresh out the ground

My oldest silver is a Celtic Dobunni silver unit, which I also found about 4 years ago, my profile pic.

I haven't watched the video either and I am respectfully (incredibly so and in awe of your knowledge and experience in these matters) curious why you say Hadrian when the thumbnail picture seems to clearly have Augustus on the coin?
