Ellerby: Gold coins found hidden under kitchen floor sell for £754,000

Recommended Posts

I'd love to find a bunch of coins like that! That's EXACTLY the kind of stuff I want in my stack. Keep the modern stuff, I want hammered gold and guineas. Can't afford them though! 😭

I'll have to buy some of those old Georgian gaming tokens, then at least from a distance I'll feel rich. 😁

where do you live Mayfair?

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

I wonder if they would attract a premium once slabbed as with ship wrecked coins ?  The Yorkshire Kitchen collection 😂

I'd buy one if I could! I like the whole CRAOLVS error. I wonder if our Charles will have a CAHRLES spelling error?

I'd love a hammered gold unite. I've never had one of those.
