Overpaying is subjective.  I have overpaid for coins that I think may do well in the future.  I have also overpaid for coins I just like and want.  

It’s like getting caught up in free postage of a quid on a Sov.  Chose a quality dealer and don’t worry about small differences in prices.

I couldn't agree with this more!

I finally bit the bullet and did some cost averaging on some of my items, expecting the worst, items I know full well I've overpaid for back in the 2012-2016 time frame. The cost averaging has me out about £40-£50 below spot across the whole of that collection area. I did not expect that at all.

So time heals old wounds... 👍😁
