2020 Oriental Britannia Gold

Many people would pay a little more Vs a generic Brit just for a bit of variety. Some people are hardcore stackers and just want whatever is lowest premium and some people might buy the OB Brit just because it's the best deal when they happen to be shopping... Some people like a nice uniform stack

I don't personally expect the premium to grow more and more over time but it could.

Do these have any real premium over a normal bullion, as there was only a 5k mintage?

Is it likely to go up in value in years to come because of that limited mintage?

If normal bullion is spot +3% then I'd value these at spot +6.5/7%

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

The "Oriental Britannias"* made in China are unlikely to go up in value...

Except that you can buy them via AliExpress for about £2 each, and people put them on ebay for much more...

... and some people are stupid enough to buy them.

The genuine British ones made by Royal Mint, but with oriental borders, are likely to retain a slighly better premium than "ordinary" ones, but then you will probably have to pay more for them in the first place.

BBP are asking £1990 right now. Profit for you?

Maybe, but not if they only pay 97%
