When I started looking for some Gold to buy, I had the same problem! Was forever seeing great deals just at the time I had no budget! so frustrating! 🤬

But it has started to get easier - the money you save by missing out means your that bit more likely to have the funds for the next bargain - so don't give up hope

People on the forum do upgrade coins for nicer / shinier examples from time to time, so that means their 'starter' coins will become available, and are a great way to get on the ladder.

Case in point, managed to pick up a 2002 Sovereign recently for a great price as it has a small copper spot, I may replace this eventually with a nicer example, and will be sure to list the spotted one on the forum at a reasonable price when I do - always good to pass on the good fortune 😁 👍
