A very quick Google search for "Greek Mint" produces, in addition to Greek Mint yogurt, sauce for lambe, etc:

One of the tasks of the Bank of Greece is the production of euro banknotes and other security products, as well as the production of euro coins, commemorative and collector coins and medals.

In the past, I believe there used to be many private mints in Greece, mainly producing counterfeit British gold sovereigns, but much of their market was supplied by others in Beirut, Dubai, Milan, and the Ticino, although that was between about 1940 and 1970.

There are no greek bullion coins issued, but you can find greek .900 gold 5, 10 and 20 Drachm according to LMU standard for small premiums (5 Drachm 1,45 gr. fine, 10 Drachm 2,90 gr. fine, 20 Drachm 5,80 gr. fine). They where issued from 1876. Not sure, if you will find a bargain in Athens, i guess you find them outside Greece cheaper.

It'd be great to see new entrants into the bullion coin market. All the commonwealth countries do a great job but it'd be nice to have more options beyond UK, Canada, Australia, US, South Africa and Austria. It's great that Spain seems to becoming a player in offering gold bullion.

The dolphin is Greece's national animal. I think a Greek dolphin series would make for a fantastic bullion coin program.
