Thanks guys. So I'm very new to this, but I already have my medium term stacking ambitions worked out. Hoping to invest in the following over the coming months:

• Britannias (already bought 24 of these, they were my first buy)
• Queen's Beasts (hoping to get the 2oz silver as well as gold fractionals)
• Armenian Ark 
• Somalian Elephants 
• Libertades (gold fractionals)
• Royal Canadian Mint 10oz Silver Bars

What do you guys think about that? Should keep me fairly busy.

Sounds good to me!

To be honest I don't think you can go far wrong with govt minted coins making up the bulk of your stack. When you have amassed a bit of a stack you will develop a preference for some particular coins over others, and to be honest it's mostly a matter of personal taste.

How could I forget those cute pandas?! I will be collecting those too.

Although maybe just current years because the older ones command such a high premium.

That's the reason I like the Queen's Beasts so much. Apart from being British, it's a new series, so I can collect the whole lot

Thanks  To be honest reading this forum has really helped to demystify PM purchasing. Initially most people have fears about buying gold or silver such as where/what to buy... how to avoid fakes... where to store... etc..

I've always been keen on collecting things, so unfortunately whenever I have money in the bank, it doesn't stay there very long. The idea of collect something whilst simultaneously saving for the future makes stacking the perfect hobby for me
