Buying small gold coins

Despite all the obvious reasons for buying a nice half sovereign, would there be any (obvious) advantages to buying a 1/10 gold Britannia over a half sovereign or vice versa? Price, re-selling etc.?

I just got myself a nice little 1/10th gem off ebay below spot price as the seller obviously hasnt been looking

I'm waiting on a small proof from auction few weeks ago, picked up at spot including buyers fees and gold bounced. I'm always on look out for small gold if funds allow. I figured premium is higher but so is resell premium.

I agree with the above.  I see no advantage in buying the 1/10 oz over a half sovereign from the same dealer/source at the same time, but occasionally you may find a mispriced coin when spot is on the rise.  But you are probably just as likely to find similar mispriced half sovs (etc) in the same scenario.
