Holidaying in Spain - an opportunity to buy Silver?

I'm planning to visit Marbella, Spain, in a few weeks. It's my first trip abroad since the loss of VAT free imports and I'm wondering if I could make it an opportunity to buy some cheap silver coins. The questions I have are:

Can I buy VAT free silver coins there?

Are there any coins shops local to Gibraltar or Marbella or Malaga?

And do I have to declare them on arrival back in the UK?

Lovely city, no silver there (at least where I was looking for) I was there in October, you must visit the Old City, good food, you must pay vat, go to Gibraltar a nice looking place maybe there but search before go.

Regards

Never found a source of cheap coins in this part of the world, including Gibraltar.
Odd shop selling bric-a-brac with some silver coins but grossly overpriced.
I don't bother looking now.
As for VAT, one you have exceeded your free personal allowance, UK Border force want their 20% on everything over your allowance and should be declared.

Doubt it’s worth carrying it back and you always run the risk of potential problems in customs, if you are wheeling a few monster boxes back……..however depending which country you life in a tax free expensive watch may be a good investment.

Nothing in Spain really, certainly not cheap silver. You might get a bit in Andorra which is at the other end of the country.
i could take a trip up to Belgium and then a plane to Dublin and a bus to the North and come over to England on a ferry. i could get tax free in that way and legally but really it just wouldn't be worth the bother. You would be better buying off the Silver Forum.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.
