Hi everyone,

Great forum.

I have recently got into stacking silver mainly due to being a bit of a conspiracy theorist  and expecting the full blown economic collapse to come along at some point. Although even if that never happens I still really enjoy searching for and collecting silver. Im hopeless at saving any money so hopefully this can be a way of making some savings too. I cant call myself much of a stacker yet as I only have a couple of coins and one 100g bar but its a start.

I am looking to purchase a 5 oz bar next or something around that size or as much silver I can get for under £100 if anyone has any suggestions of where would be best to look in the UK?

Thanks guys :)

Hi and welcome. Where best to look in the UK for silver? Most responses will be don't I think. You can purchase from Europe and pay little vat in comparison. Check out silver to go or gold-silver.be to give you an idea.

sorry just reread to see you were after a bar. If you are happy to pay vat and premium Atkinsons are good.

Thanks for the welcome and the links guys. Yes buying a number of coins seems to be better value for money with it being VAT free on some of those sites, with the 12 quid delivery added though I will probably wait until I can make a bigger order. A small bar for now I think and a nice order of coins next time. Buying Silver is very addictive

You probably know all the sites for UK, But if its just a single purchase i think Abbots Silver has some good value pieces.

If its something a bit different you like then try Silverstan.

Welcome on abroad :)

When you read more posts on this forum, you might eventually lean towards gold; at least I have :D

Research sovereigns and 'fractional' coins/bars (1/4oz, 1/10 or 1/20 oz)
There are a couple more advantages in gold over silver.

I agree with the above dealer links.

This video finally got me into getting into gold/silver and I think you might appreciate the video's on the channel.
