Hi All, i logged onto the RM bullion website on saturday to buy a 1/4 gold queens beasts...but its gone! I notice now that the silver 2oz has gone too. Anyone have any insight to share? Is this due to quality/delivery issues?

Bugger, i finally have some cash and they vanish...

@STG Your specs have a typo listing the coin as Cook Islands as the series instead of Queen's Beasts.

I am really quite keen on the 2oz Queens Beasts coins.

If the quality is of a high standard I can see these coins doing very well in the future.

I take it the Royal Mint will be issuing all ten of the Queens Beasts Heraldic designs quite quickly as her Majesty is not getting any younger,so I cant see them releasing 1 per year for the next 10 years.

What if they produce proof versions? then the bullion will potentially be the ugly cousin and the demand will be for the proof, especially if the proof mintage is big, say 10,000 for the silver

I think it is save to say that any upcoming proofs will be expensive.  £185 is my guess.

Yeah probably around the £160-190 range if they make it the same 2 oz size as the bullion or perhaps piedfort

I don't think there will be a problem selling them though

Let's hope they've sorted out the issues with scratches etc. I spoke with goldsilver.be today and they had a large order of 1/4 and sent the whole lot back due to poor quality!

Who paid for return postage because having to return 3 is beyond a joke?  There's absolutely no reason why they can't supply them in mint condition.

1 and 2 they refunded return postage. 3 I paid and 4 seems to be perfect..
