Its weighty will test good with solution and was most definitely made from hall marked Sterling items and contains well over an ounce equivalent of fine silver.

Thank you so much for the kind offer and it does look very nice but I’d end up losing it as I do all my poker chips every time I play 😂😂 lovely hand made piece though mate 🙂

No, I'm just pleased to see you.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

It has been BASF for years. I believe they now recycle catalytic converters, to extract the precious metals, in the UK.
