Is this metalor bar genuine?

Purchase this recently (on the left) and received today. It looks a bit different to my other one (from Ash on the right ).

The colour is slightly different and the strike seems more shallow and cleaner.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

In my opinion is 100% legit. Between bars always are some small differences of toning, colour, shape, even font, depending of year or lot.

Does it have the same size? Does it have the correct weight? Can you make a positive magnet test? Then it's silver.

I cannot think of any scenario in which a genuine kilo of silver should be used to fake a Metalor bar.

Everything is as it should be: font, certificate, colour, the writings, the distance between letters... You have both of them and you can compare better. The sound and vibrations I am sure are the same.

I'd take it to a local dealer and have it checked if I was unsure.

I usually do with my purchases that aren't from the main dealers. Mainly just peace of mind. I'm not personally suspicious looking at the photos but I don't doubt the capabilities of scammers either.

Looks right to me, silver bullion bars & to a lesser extent bullion coins can have slight colouration differences.

Looks spot on to me and well done having two! A member recently @Dazzlinh asked exactly the same with a metalor kilo bar and I think it’s just down to they churn out a massive amount of these still to this day so they are going to vary from time to time. I wouldn’t worry in the slightest 😎

@Scaffstackerthanks mate! They are so nice and weighty to hold in hand. This is the only thing not in a safe deposit box as I love having them around! Useful as paper weight and door stopper too 😂😅
