@Pipers, Check the 1932. Only the South Africa Mint made 1932 sovs. You might have got yourself a major bonus there. 

 

Yes I got my loop out and it is a South Africa mint, why is it a bonus when there was still so many minted?

Because  in 1932 only South Africa were minting Sovereigns and they only made 1,067,000. Compared to 1931, 8,512,000, 1930 - 10,028,000 and 1929 - 12,024,000. the SA mint produced

 

The UK a decade before were making them up to 30million a year. 

 

It is one of the lowest mintage figures of any sovereign . Chards are selling the 1932's for £340, compared to their normal price of a run of the mill sov of £194.

 

That is why you have had a nice little touch there :D

just bought some gloves, a loupe and a digital scale. I want to get touchy-feely, put a nasty mark on a pristine coin with my thumb the other day, trying to rub it off made it worse!

Sorry to say it´s not a Mexico libertad Proof, no Proof 2ozers done in 1987

 

Not sure what it is, as long as 2oz .999 i´m happy.
