Advantages Britannias/Valiants

Just looking at buying some 1oz Britannias and on the Royal Mint website they also had some 1oz Valiants, which I think look slightly better but at a premium of about 80pence over the Britannias.

My question, is there any advantages to paying the premium for the Valiants or just carry on picking up the Britannias, I've just started stacking on a limited budget so trying to hit 25 - 30oz by the end of the year before I try to get some sovereigns next year.

I'm not looking for a quick turn over I'm in for the long run.

I would suggest not buying directly from the Royal Mint when it comes to silver, I would look at a group order on the forum or a direct purchase from the EU so you avoid VAT.

I would buy a bit of both....Brtiannias & Valiants. I really like the desing on the valiants and to my knowledge, limited mintage. Very nice finish.....matte for the horse, love it. Pitty the RM did not make 1 oz 2018 valiants

I went for both, but found the oriental border version of the 2020 britannia to be cooler than the standard one.  I agree royal mint directly always seem expensive compared to reseller prices so didn't order direct from royal mint either.
