Storing slabbed coins

Recommended Posts

I have some slabbed coins that are sealed in little plastic bags. Do you keep them in the bags, or remove the extra plastic? I understand this is six of one and half dozen of another, just seeing what different people do. I'm leaning towards removing them from the baggies.

@shawy2510 Where did you get the slab holders for the NGC and PCGS holders?

I have about 30 of them left I think at 2.50 each plus postage

Loghthouse make a decent storage box for slabbed coins, that have ''sacrificial anodes'' built into the sides, roof and bottom of the storage box that is meant to protect your coins from tarnishing..... for a minimum of 20 years - if memory serves me correctly it may even be 50 years, and again from memory they cost between £23.00 - £25.00.  If you'd like I'll try and find a link to them for you.
