Have you weighed them? Have you tested for diamagnetism? first 2 things I bought before I bought my first piece of silver was a scale, preferably to 2 decimal points but 1 will do, and a neo dymium magnet also know as a rare earth magnet

The hunt is on!

Loving the marigolds! Check the dimensions, I find bullionbypost is a good reference purely due to the layout and info being convenient. Diameter + thickness if it's stated and as the others said weight and magnetism, or preferably lack of! Looks just like the two Maples I have if that helps but it's difficult to judge from a picture. Work out how well your scale is calibrated if possible too for peace of mind. What makes you suspect they're dickie coins?

I don't have a magnet at hand so I can't perform that test unfortunately.

Bought it second hand so you never know, that's why I just wanted to make sure to get some peace of mind.

It's worth picking one up, especially if you're going to buy more. Any strong magnet is good, I believe the neodymium magnets are recommended because even a very small one is extremely strong. I use a fractured piece of some kind of industrial magnet I had from my dad. It takes quite a bit of effort to pull it off stuff...
