I had just written a lengthy post and then somehow the content was cleared before I could post it, so here we go a 2nd time 🙈

You may already be aware of this, but if not, @EuropeanMint sent out an email newsletter yesterday, in which they confirmed that they will be selling VAT free silver until the end of December 2020. @BackyardBullion will likely be running a group buy sometime from 1st February, please see his post here: https://thesilverforum.com/topic/26095-group-order-update-shipping-discount-code-for-the-european-mint/?do=findComment&comment=322590

Brexit transition period!

Free movement of people and goods will then still be possible up to and including
31 December 2020. Get your VAT-Free silver from the European Mint while you can!

With such beautiful designs, these coins will be a highlight in any coin collection.

For low priced silver from the EU there is also one of my preferred sellers, Silver To Go https://www.silver-to-go.com/en/ they offer fantastic customer service, good prices, and the ability to also pay in GBP (though may work out cheaper to pay in EUR) (For transparency I will add that they are a previous Official Sponsor of TSF and a current Advertiser, but this post is not sponsored)

Other members from the EU or specifically buyers in the UK may be able to comment to which other dealers in the EU sell low priced silver, it is my understanding that there are a small handful of less known dealers in Germany and some other countries who also have great prices.

My posts are my personal opinions, they do not constitute advice or financial advice.

Was nice to see the EU mint sending out a truthful email regarding the ability to carry on buying VAT reduced silver. I like them but their previous emails were cheaply dishonest and misleading. I'd be interested to see what other dealers there are. I've come across a couple in Germany but sadly nowhere that offers the prices others do.

No impact because if you don't take delivery you don't pay VAT period not EU related. But obviously you get to pay storage fees. A good idea in theory but you are captive RE buyback rates unless you eventually take delivery, in which case you get to pay VAT.

That's why I'm confused because the RM are charging VAT on allocated silver / buying silver coins for storage. Which I find a bit odd.
