New 50p... with Privy!

Bullionaire

You missed this one too lol:

I was seriously considering buying one or a few, but in the end decided to use my available cash to get a Lion of Mortimer 1/4 gold bullion instead. No doubt one should be able to sell this low mintage 50p for a profit on Ebay after they have sold out, though.

Well... I really should have bought a couple of these at £55, but the chances now are OVER!! They have sold out quickly, and are very sought after by 50p collectors, some have already sold on Ebay now for £99! It could go higher. The CoinConnection has, as expected, also raised their prices, now standing at £75.

The piedfort is not sold out yet at RM... maybe an opportunity for some there. But undoubtedly the normal size one is the most wanted.

I see one sold at £70 and one sold at £100 - When I see only one sale at a price higher than the rest, I feel it's in-house-trading style.  When at least 10 or 20 have sold at that price, i'd consider it something selling 'at that price' tbh.

I bought one silver an a BU as well. Tempted to get more BU as they could do well in future when the mint stops selling them...

Nah mate, it's not inhouse-trading on this one. There aren't any of these coins on sale for less... who in their right mind would sell it for a low price now? These coins are very popular.

I was wrong it was 70 not 60, and yes there wasn't a 95 at the time (not sure how, as it was sold hours ago, who knows!)

2 @ 90+ is good, but personally for me, until 10 or more have sold at that price / range, i'd not consider it 'the selling price' yet.

The thing is, there are not many of these coins, hence you won't see that many of them for sale on the secondary market. The CoinConnection has them now for £75, that might go up.
