You have £300. What gold coin/s would you buy for that?

I'd look out for a late 90's gold Sovereign in PR69 grade, if you're lucky you can get one for just over £300...

I just received this today - I bought it on the forum earlier in the week from Blockhead. Very nice coin so I can add this to my little collection of gold coins I have the Lion and the Griffin. I paid £300 including special delivery and it was money well spent. I don't have any sovereigns, if I saw a 1960 I would buy it.

I def wouldn't buy anything just for pm content 

Id wait for a good deal for something numismatic on ebay or a large mint to come out with something new that I believed in long term

The 1/4 oz QBs are a good shout for that price point.  I'd also vote for a modern bullion sovereign, especially if you can get a 2002, 2005 or 2012.

I'd go for a 1918 India Sovereign. Collectable, easy to move on and a one year mintage.
